Privacy Policy

1. No Personal Data Collection

At Deploy.is, we practice strict data minimization. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal information. Unlike other platforms, we do not require you to provide an email address, phone number, physical address, or real name to use our services.

You can create, host, and manage websites completely anonymously. We believe that static hosting should be accessible without giving up your digital identity.

2. Information We Do Collect & Security

To facilitate the functionality of the zPanel Manager (our file manager), we only store two specific pieces of information when you create a project:

• Project Name: This is used solely to generate your unique URL (e.g., deploy.is/your-project) and creates the folder structure on our server.
• Access PIN: This is used exclusively to authenticate you when logging into the zPanel Manager to edit or delete your files.

Security Measures: Your PIN is never stored in plain text. We use Argon2i, the winner of the Password Hashing Competition, to hash and salt your PIN before it is stored. This means even if our database were compromised, your PIN would remain cryptographically secure and unreadable.

3. Third-Party Advertising

To keep Deploy.is free for everyone, we may display third-party advertisements on our main website pages (such as the homepage or generator page). These ads may be served by networks like Google AdSense.

Please note that these third-party advertisers may use cookies or web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites on the internet. You can opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting standard ad settings tools provided by Google or the Network Advertising Initiative.

4. Pricing, Subscriptions & Usage

No Hidden Fees: Currently, Deploy.is is a 100% free service. There are no subscriptions, "Pro" plans, or paywalls. All resources, including hosting, bandwidth, and the zPanel editor, are provided free of charge.

Unlimited Projects: We do not impose a hard limit on the number of projects a single user can create, provided that each project complies with our Terms of Service. However, we reserve the right to clean up abandoned or inactive projects to save server space if necessary.

5. Use of Cookies

We use cookies sparingly and only for essential technical functions.

• Session Cookies: When you log in to the zPanel Manager, we use a temporary session cookie to keep you logged in while you edit your files. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser or log out.
• Analytics: We may use anonymous, privacy-focused analytics to count the number of visitors to our platform to help us optimize performance.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
