Deploy.is Docs
Introduction

Quick Start Guide

Welcome! Let's get your website live in just a few moments. Follow these three simple steps to launch your static site without any complex configuration.

1 Choose Project Name

Go to our Generate Page. Enter a unique name for your project (e.g., my-portfolio). This name will become your website URL: https://deploy.is/my-portfolio.

2 Set Secure PIN

Create a numeric PIN (minimum 6 digits). Important: This PIN acts as your password. You will need it to log in to the zPanel editor to manage your files later.

3 Launch & Edit

Click Create Website. Your site is instantly live! You can now log in to zPanel to upload your content, edit code, and manage assets directly from your browser.

zPanel Features

zPanel is our custom-built cloud IDE. It gives you full control over your static files directly from the browser.

Dark & Light Mode

Switch between Dark Mode for coding at night and Light Mode for bright environments instantly.

Real-time Stats

Monitor your Storage usage, Inode count, and Server Load directly from the footer status bar.

Notifications

Stay updated with a built-in notification center for system updates, security alerts, and maintenance.

Secure Sandbox

Each project is isolated. We automatically sanitize extracted files to keep the server safe.

Available Tools & Actions

The zPanel toolbar provides a complete suite of file management tools.

Creation
Create New File or New Folder instantly.
Bulk Upload
Upload multiple files at once. Supports drag-and-drop workflow logic.
Archive Management
Compress selected files into a ZIP. Extract ZIP files automatically (sanitizes unsafe files).
Clipboard Actions
Full support for Cut, Copy, and Paste between folders.
Editing
Built-in code editor for HTML, CSS, JS, and JSON files. Live Preview in a new tab.

Supported Files

Deploy.is is strictly a Static Hosting platform. We only allow safe, client-side file extensions.

Allowed Extensions:

.html
.css
.js
.json
.png
.jpg
.webp
.svg
.mp4
.zip
Restricted: PHP, Python, EXE, or other server-side scripts are not allowed and will be automatically rejected or deleted by the sandbox.

Linking Your Assets

How to correctly link your CSS, JavaScript, and image files within your HTML using relative paths.

Linking CSS Files

In your HTML, you can link your stylesheet by using the relative filename. Since files are in the same directory, you do not need the full URL.

<!-- Link to style.css in the same folder -->
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">

Heads up! Make sure you have already uploaded the style.css file from your zPanel first.

Linking JavaScript Files

If you have a separate JavaScript file, use the <script> tag pointing to the filename:

<!-- Link to script.js -->
<script src="script.js"></script>

Linking Images

Upload your image (e.g., hero.png) via zPanel, then reference it directly in your code:

<!-- Display an image -->
<img src="hero.png" alt="My awesome hero image">

Using a Custom Domain

Point your own domain name to your site using the power of Cloudflare Workers.

What You'll Need

  • A domain name you already own.
  • Your domain connected to a free Cloudflare account.

1 Configure Your DNS

First, create a placeholder DNS record in Cloudflare so the Worker can intercept requests.

  • Type: A
  • Name: @ (for root) or www
  • IPv4 address: 192.0.2.1 (Dummy IP)
  • Proxy status: Proxied (Orange Cloud ON)

2 Create the Cloudflare Worker

Go to Workers & Pages > Create Worker. Replace the default code with this script:

export default {
  async fetch(request) {
    let url = new URL(request.url);

    // TARGET HOST: Do not change this
    url.hostname = "deploy.is";

    // YOUR PROJECT PATH
    // Change '/my-project' to your actual project name
    url.pathname = "/my-project" + url.pathname;

    let response = await fetch(url.toString(), {
      method: request.method,
      headers: request.headers,
      body: request.method !== "GET" && request.method !== "HEAD" ? request.body : undefined,
    });

    return response;
  }
}

3 Connect the Worker

Final step: Tell Cloudflare to run this Worker on your domain.

  1. Inside your Worker, go to the Triggers tab.
  2. Click Add route.
  3. Enter route: yourdomain.com/*
  4. Select your zone/domain and click Add.
